After I gave birth to a baby girl, I had difficulty breastfeeding. Luckily, Rebeca Four came into our lives! After 1 consultation, she correctly diagnosed a frenulum issue on my baby (the hospital and a pediatrician had completely missed it). We got it taken care of and breastfeeding became a breeze. Rebeca was there every step of the way, answered every text we sent her right away(we sent her so many texts those first few weeks) and she even brought a scale to my apartment to make sure my baby was gaining enough weight. She went above and beyond in every way. She was kind, supportive and very knowledgeable. She is truly amazing!!

MY STORY

I have been helping parents meet their infant feeding goals for almost 14 years. I have provided education and support to families in Northern New Jersey and NYC, as a private practice provider, as the Breastfeeding Coordinator for WIC of Hudson County, and as a former Trustee on the NJ Breastfeeding Coalition, which means that I have literally provided support to thousands of families. What sets me apart is that I am a mother first and foremost. This means that I have been where you are and I have no personal agenda. My only interest is to serve you, your baby and your family and to help you gain the knowledge and confidence you need so you can make informed decisions that fit your individual needs.

I breastfed my own daughter for two and a half years after a very challenging first three months. I know, first hand, how you are feeling. During my nursing experience, I learned a lot about the importance of honoring each parent’s individual path and about the great deal of pressure and stress parents experience in our society, where there is very little support for families. My goals is to help you figure out what you want and how to get there in a way that is manageable.

In addition to my work with individual families, I have trained women’s healthcare professionals in the hospital setting, WIC programs, Nurse Family Partnership, and Community Doula programs. I have developed and taught childbirth preparation and wellness programs for corporate organizations like the Discovery Group.

I really adore this woman and feel very blessed that I met her and had her as my birthing mentor. She is very passionate, loving and knowledgeable about all things mama and baby! A big heart and great mind.
